PelGar International – Pyrethrum 5EC

PelGar International – Pyrethrum 5EC is a highly effective natural contact insecticide formulated to control a wide range of common insect pests. It works quickly on contact and can be used year-round to protect both edible and non-edible plants.

Containing 5% natural pyrethrins, Pyrethrum 5EC targets pests such as aphids (greenfly and blackfly), beetles, caterpillars, red spider mite, whitefly and more. Because it leaves no toxic residues, crops can be sprayed up to 24 hours before harvest, making it ideal for use during active growing periods.

This versatile insecticide is approved for use on a wide range of crops, including aubergine, squash, cucumber, courgette, pepper, chilli and tomato. In addition, it is suitable for soft fruit crops and ornamental plants. As a result, it is widely used by professional growers across both organic and non-organic farming systems.

Instructions for Use:

Timing

Apply as soon as pests or pest damage are observed. For best results, spray early morning or evening. Avoid application in direct sunlight or very hot conditions.

Dilution Rate

• Mix 20ml per 5 litres of water (maximum individual dose)

• Lower doses may be used as a deterrent or repellent

Spray Programme

• Apply at 7-day intervals if required

• Harvest permitted 24 hours after final application
